Zusammenfassung: | "Theoretically anchored and historically informed, Six Children is a book about the nuances of child psychoanalysis as these unfold in the encounter with different forms of early life anguish. Addressing autistic, homeless, and despondent children on the one hand, and greedy, betrayed, and angry children on the other, the book attempts to integrate developmental deficits, intrapsychic conflicts, and constitutional givens in evolving a deeper understanding of both severe and milder psychopathology. Ample clinical illustrations are provided and technical interventions pertinent to each of these situations are carefully fleshed out. Equal attention is given to holding and interpretation, family intervention and individual focus, and affect management and mentalization. The fact that the six main chapters of the book are sandwiched between a careful review and update of the field of child analysis makes the book especially suited for being used as a teaching tool in didactic curricula. A comprehensive and carefully selected bibliography imparts the book a scholarly quality, which exists alongside the text's literary and humane cadence."--Provided by publisher |

A comprehensive and carefully selected bibliography imparts the book a scholarly quality, which exists alongside the text's literary and humane cadence."--Provided by publisher</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="546" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">English.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Child analysis.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85023353</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Child psychopathology.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85023384</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Child psychotherapy.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85023385</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Psychoanalysis.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85108411</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="2"><subfield code="a">Psychoanalysis</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="2"><subfield code="a">Psychoanalytic Theory</subfield><subfield code="0">https://id.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/D011574</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Enfants</subfield><subfield code="x">Psychanalyse.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Enfants</subfield><subfield code="x">Psychopathologie.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Enfants</subfield><subfield code="x">Psychothérapie.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Psychanalyse.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">psychoanalysis.</subfield><subfield code="2">aat</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">MEDICAL</subfield><subfield code="x">Gynecology & Obstetrics.</subfield><subfield code="2">bisacsh</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Psychoanalysis</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Child analysis</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Child psychopathology</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Child psychotherapy</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Electronic books.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="2"><subfield code="a">Case Reports</subfield><subfield code="0">https://id.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/D002363</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Case studies</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Case studies.</subfield><subfield code="2">lcgft</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/genreForms/gf2017026140</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Études de cas.</subfield><subfield code="2">rvmgf</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="758" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="i">has work:</subfield><subfield code="a">Six children (Text)</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PCH7jY7jjgKkF4BGWGDcYrm</subfield><subfield code="4">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/ontology/hasWork</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Print version:</subfield><subfield code="z">9781782202820</subfield><subfield code="z">178220282X</subfield><subfield code="w">(OCoLC)932593639</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="0"><subfield code="l">FWS01</subfield><subfield code="p">ZDB-4-EBA</subfield><subfield code="q">FWS_PDA_EBA</subfield><subfield code="u">https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site&db=nlebk&AN=1092302</subfield><subfield code="3">Volltext</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="936" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">BATCHLOAD</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Askews and Holts Library Services</subfield><subfield code="b">ASKH</subfield><subfield code="n">AH34295012</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Coutts Information Services</subfield><subfield code="b">COUT</subfield><subfield code="n">32597569</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">EBL - "Theoretically anchored and historically informed, Six Children is a book about the nuances of child psychoanalysis as these unfold in the encounter with different forms of early life anguish. A comprehensive and carefully selected bibliography imparts the book a scholarly quality, which exists alongside the text's literary and humane cadence."--Provided by publisher English.
