Zusammenfassung: | This book brings a social networks perspective to bear on topics of leadership, decision-making, turnover, organizational crises, organizational culture, and other major organizational behavior topics. It offers a new direction for organizational behavior theory and research by drawing from social network ideas. Across diverse research topics, the authors pursue an integrated focus on social ties both as they are represented in the cognitions of individuals and as they operate as constraints and opportunities in organizational settings. The authors bring their 20 years worth of research experience together to provide a programmatic social network approach to understanding the internal functioning of organizations. By focusing a distinctive research lens on interpersonal networks, they attempt to discover the keys to the whole realm of organizational behavior through the social network approach. |

brings a social networks perspective to bear on topics of leadership, decision-making, turnover, organizational crises, organizational culture, and other major organizational behavior topics. It offers a new direction for organizational behavior theory and research by drawing from social network ideas. Across diverse research topics, the authors pursue an integrated focus on social ties both as they are represented in the cognitions of individuals and as they operate as constraints and opportunities in organizational settings. The authors bring their 20 years worth of research experience together to provide a programmatic social network approach to understanding the internal functioning of organizations. By focusing a distinctive research lens on interpersonal networks, they attempt to discover the keys to the whole realm of organizational behavior through the social network approach.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Organizational behavior</subfield><subfield code="x">Social aspects.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Social networks.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh87002172</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Self-perception.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85119775</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Social perception.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85123982</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Power (Social sciences)</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85105976</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Comportement organisationnel</subfield><subfield code="x">Aspect social.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Réseaux sociaux.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Perception de soi.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Perception sociale.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Pouvoir (Sciences sociales)</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">BUSINESS & ECONOMICS</subfield><subfield code="x">Negotiating.</subfield><subfield code="2">bisacsh</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Organizational behavior</subfield><subfield code="x">Social aspects</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Power (Social sciences)</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Self-perception</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Social networks</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Social perception</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Organisationspsychologie</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield><subfield code="0">http://d-nb.info/gnd/4043786-3</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Organisationsverhalten</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield><subfield code="0">http://d-nb.info/gnd/4285859-8</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Soziales Netzwerk</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Electronic books.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">dissertations.</subfield><subfield code="2">aat</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Academic theses</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Academic theses.</subfield><subfield code="2">lcgft</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/genreForms/gf2014026039</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Thèses et écrits académiques.</subfield><subfield code="2">rvmgf</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Krackhardt, David.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n2008004260</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="758" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="i">has work:</subfield><subfield code="a">Interpersonal networks in organizations (Text)</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PCFRCH6XGHXyPpJW74ytTjK</subfield><subfield code="4">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/ontology/hasWork</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Print version:</subfield><subfield code="a">Kilduff, Martin.</subfield><subfield code="t">Interpersonal networks in organizations.</subfield><subfield code="d">Cambridge ;
