Summary:This collective exhibition of contemporary art presents a selection of the works acquired between 2015 and 2023 and that are now part of the holdings of the Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano, (ICPNA). The collection comprises multiplicity of expressions where the committed works that express an artistic version against reality and address critical social problems such as colonialism and migration stand out. In addition, through various techniques, they question systems of power and entrenched inequalities, thus transmitting activist messages through symbolism and visual metaphors related to gender, body, sexuality and motherhood. Each piece becomes an evocative narrative that reflects and questions the complexity of contemporary society. The catalogue includes an interview with Alberto Rabaza Torres, the founding partner and managing partner of Rebaza, Alcazar & De Las Casas law firm and the actual President of the Board of Directors of the Museo de Arte de Lima (MALI)
