Elles ont été mises en évidence dans cet article grâce à un corpus de manifestations organisées des années 1940 aux années 1960 en Europe et aux États-Unis. S’ils témoignent de la massification de la cinéphilie à cette période, ces accrochages montrent en quoi les usages de la photographie contribuent au renouvellement des pratiques d’exposition sur le cinéma après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. There are many photographic elements in cinema exhibitions. Their use can be divided into three main categories: scenographic, documentary, iconic and artistic. These have been highlighted through a corpus of exhibitions organised from the 1940s to the 1960s in Europe and the United States. While these exhibitions bear witness to the massification of cinephilia during this period, they also show how the uses of photography contributed to the renewal of exhibition practices after the Second World War. |
