Zusammenfassung: | Neoliberalism is often studied as a political ideology, a government program, and even as a pattern of cultural identities. However, less attention is paid to the specific institutional resources employed by neoliberal administrations, which have resulted in the configuration of a neoliberal state model. This accessible volume compiles original essays on the neoliberal era in Latin America and Spain, exploring subjects such as neoliberal public policies, power strategies, institutional resources, popular support, and social protest. The book focuses on neoliberalism as a state model: a configuration of public power designed to implement radical policy proposals. This is the third volume in the State and Nation Making in Latin America and Spain series, which aims to complete and advance research and knowledge about national states in Latin America and Spain |

Ferraro, Gustavo Fondevila, Juan José Rastrollo, and Miguel A. Centeno Neoliberalism is often studied as a political ideology, a government program, and even as a pattern of cultural identities. This is the third volume in the State and Nation Making in Latin America and Spain series, which aims to complete and advance research and knowledge about national states in Latin America and Spain Geschichte 1973-2021 gnd rswk-swf Neoliberalism / Latin America Neoliberalism / Spain Neoliberalismus (DE-588)4171438-6 gnd rswk-swf Protestbewegung (DE-588)4226404-2 gnd rswk-swf State building (DE-588)7504224-1 gnd rswk-swf Reformpolitik (DE-588)4048960-7 gnd rswk-swf Latin America / Politics and government / 1980- Spain / Politics and government / 1982- Lateinamerika (DE-588)4074032-8 gnd rswk-swf Spanien (DE-588)4055964-6 gnd rswk-swf (DE-588)4143413-4 Aufsatzsammlung gnd-content Spanien (DE-588)4055964-6 g Lateinamerika (DE-588)4074032-8 g Neoliberalismus (DE-588)4171438-6 s State building (DE-588)7504224-1 s Reformpolitik (DE-588)4048960-7 s Protestbewegung (DE-588)4226404-2 s Geschichte 1973-2021 z DE-604 Centeno, Miguel Angel 1957- (DE-588)134212282 edt Ferraro, Agustín E. 1957- (DE-588)105667993X edt Erscheint auch als Druck-Ausgabe 978-1-108-83690-6 Erscheint auch als Druck-Ausgabe 978-1-108-81941-1 https://doi.org/10.1017/9781108873031 Verlag URL des Erstveröffentlichers Volltext |
