Mehr als 50 Werke zeitgenössischer Künstler und eine ergänzende Auswahl historischer Kunstwerke zeichnen die verschiedenen Arten nach, in denen Klima und Wetter unsere Geschichte geprägt haben und wie die Menschheit mit dem alltäglichen Umgang mit meteorologischen Ereignissen umgegangen ist. Die Ausstellung zeigt das seit langem bestehende Interesse der Künstler am "Sprechen über das Wetter", von allegorischen und En-Pleinair-Gemälden bis hin zu aktuellen Multimedia-Installationen und transnationalem Aktivismus. Das Buch enthält 18 reich illustrierte Essays von Kuratoren, Kunsthistorikern, Architekten, Aktivisten, Linguisten, Meteorologen und Wissenschaftlern. Das Buch enthält auch eine grundlegende Bibliographie der Klimadynamik mit fast 500 Texten, die von Karten, Diagrammen und anderen grafischen Darstellungen begleitet werden. |

Das Buch enthält 18 reich illustrierte Essays von Kuratoren, Kunsthistorikern, Architekten, Aktivisten, Linguisten, Meteorologen und Wissenschaftlern.
