Zusammenfassung:Daniel Barenboim performs works for piano solo by Frederic Chopin in Warsaw on the occasion of the 200th birthday of the Polish composer. Frederic Chopin's has left an infinite number of masterworks for the piano. His sonatas, mazurkas, waltzes, nocturnes, polonaises, études, impromptus, scherzos, and preludes have accompanied music lovers ever since their publications in the first half of the 19th century. Stemming from the Italian opera, the bel canto is indeed characterized by the gentleness of its melodies and the use of a delicate technique of ornamentation.
