Beschreibung: | What do Polish enterprises think about cooperation with the economic powerhouse China? Quoting the just released report Poland-China: Assessment of Polish Enterprises' Cooperation with China, produced by the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) and KPMG, "nearly half of companies already present in China are planning to expand the scope of cooperation with Chinese partners within the next three years".This conclusion is one of many from the first survey of this kind done on a large scale (it included 500 medium-size and large companies) in which Polish entrepreneurs were asked about their perceptions of cooperation with China. It also revealed that 27% of Polish companies currently cooperate with China in some form, mostly in imports (76%), then to a lesser degree on commissioning production in China (32%) and in exports (28%).The joint report prepared by a team of experts from PISM and KPMG offers a better understanding of the real capabilities for improvement in Polish-Chinese economic relations. It also provides important information for policymakers and institutions supporting the expansion of Polish firms to the Chinese market, as well as readers who may be interested in recent trends in international economic relations |
