Zusammenfassung: | On social media, new forms of communication arise rapidly, many of which are intense, dispersed, and create new communities at a global scale. Such communities can act as distinct information bubbles with their own perspective on the world, and it is difficult for people to find and monitor all these perspectives and relate the different claims made. Within this digital jungle of perspectives on truth, it is difficult to make informed decisions on important things like vaccinations, democracy, and climate change. Understanding and modeling this phenomenon in its full complexity requires an interdisciplinary approach, utilizing the ample data provided by digital communication to offer new insights and opportunities. This interdisciplinary book gives a comprehensive view on social media communication, the different forms it takes, the impact and the technology used to mine it, and defines the roadmap to a more transparent Web |

This interdisciplinary book gives a comprehensive view on social media communication, the different forms it takes, the impact and the technology used to mine it, and defines the roadmap to a more transparent Web Social Media (DE-588)4639271-3 gnd rswk-swf Internet (DE-588)4308416-3 gnd rswk-swf Transparenz (DE-588)4185917-0 gnd rswk-swf Semantic Computing (DE-588)1155502108 gnd rswk-swf Natural language processing (Computer science) Semantic computing Perspective (Linguistics) Internet (DE-588)4143413-4 Aufsatzsammlung gnd-content Internet (DE-588)4308416-3 s DE-604 Semantic Computing (DE-588)1155502108 s Transparenz (DE-588)4185917-0 s Social Media (DE-588)4639271-3 s Vossen, Piek 1960- (DE-588)1089229062 edt win aut Fokkens, Antske 1982- (DE-588)1080701869 edt Erscheint auch als Online-Ausgabe 978-1-108-64110-4 (DE-604)BV048293715 Digitalisierung UB Regensburg - ADAM Catalogue Enrichment application/pdf http://bvbr.bib-bvb.de:8991/F?func=service&doc_library=BVB01&local_base=BVB01&doc_number=033622421&sequence=000001&line_number=0001&func_code=DB_RECORDS&service_type=MEDIA Inhaltsverzeichnis |
