Zusammenfassung: | "The Future of Open Data flows from a multi-year Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Partnership Grant project that set out to explore open government geospatial data from an interdisciplinary perspective. Researchers on the grant adopted a critical social science perspective grounded in the imperative that the research should be relevant to government and civil society partners in the field. This book builds on the knowledge developed during the course of the grant and asks the question, "What is the future of open data?" The contributors’ insights into the future of open data combine observations from five years of research about the Canadian open data community with a critical perspective on what could and should happen as open data efforts evolve. Each of the chapters in this book addresses different issues and each is grounded in distinct disciplinary or interdisciplinary perspectives. The opening chapter reflects on the origins of open data in Canada and how it has progressed to the present date, taking into account how the Indigenous data sovereignty movement intersects with open data. A series of chapters address some of the pitfalls and opportunities of open data and consider how the changing data context may impact sources of open data, limits on open data, and even liability for open data. Another group of chapters considers new landscapes for open data, including open data in the global South, the data priorities of local governments, and the emerging context for rural open data."-- |

Another group of chapters considers new landscapes for open data, including open data in the global South, the data priorities of local governments, and the emerging context for rural open data."--</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Electronic government information</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Electronic public records</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Geospatial data</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Government information</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Government information / Access control</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Freedom of information</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="4"><subfield code="a">Transparency in government / Technological innovations</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1="0" ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Open Data</subfield><subfield code="0">(DE-588)1064023886</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield><subfield code="9">rswk-swf</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1="0" ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Informationsfreiheit</subfield><subfield code="0">(DE-588)4127674-7</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield><subfield code="9">rswk-swf</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="651" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Kanada</subfield><subfield code="0">(DE-588)4029456-0</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd</subfield><subfield code="9">rswk-swf</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="0">(DE-588)4143413-4</subfield><subfield code="a">Aufsatzsammlung</subfield><subfield code="2">gnd-content</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="689" ind1="0" ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Kanada</subfield><subfield code="0">(DE-588)4029456-0</subfield><subfield code="D">g</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="689" ind1="0" ind2="1"><subfield code="a">Open Data</subfield><subfield code="0">(DE-588)1064023886</subfield><subfield code="D">s</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="689" ind1="0" ind2="2"><subfield code="a">Informationsfreiheit</subfield><subfield code="0">(DE-588)4127674-7</subfield><subfield code="D">s</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="689" ind1="0" ind2=" "><subfield code="5">DE-604</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Robinson, Pamela</subfield><subfield code="0">(DE-588)1286535050</subfield><subfield code="4">edt</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Scassa, Teresa</subfield><subfield code="d">1963-</subfield><subfield code="0">(DE-588)1216139431</subfield><subfield code="4">edt</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Erscheint auch als</subfield><subfield code="n">Online-Ausgabe, PDF</subfield><subfield code="z">978-0-7766-2975-9</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Erscheint auch als</subfield><subfield code="n">Online-Ausgabe, EPUB</subfield><subfield code="z">978-0-7766-2976-6</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="2"><subfield code="m">Digitalisierung UB Passau - ADAM Catalogue Enrichment</subfield><subfield code="q">application/pdf</subfield><subfield code="u">http://bvbr.bib-bvb.de:8991/F?func=service&doc_library=BVB01&local_base=BVB01&doc_number=033593745&sequence=000001&line_number=0001&func_code=DB_RECORDS&service_type=MEDIA</subfield><subfield code="3">Inhaltsverzeichnis</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="940" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="q">BSB_NED_20230421</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="999" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">oai:aleph.bib-bvb.de:BVB01-033593745</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="942" ind1="1" ind2="1"><subfield code="c">020</subfield><subfield code="e">22/bsb</subfield><subfield code="f">0905</subfield><subfield code="g">71</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="942" ind1="1" ind2="1"><subfield code="c">020</subfield><subfield code="e">22/bsb</subfield><subfield code="g">71</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="942" ind1="1" ind2="1"><subfield code="c">070.9</subfield><subfield code="e">22/bsb</subfield><subfield code="f">0905</subfield><subfield code="g">71</subfield></datafield></record></collection> |

Another group of chapters considers new landscapes for open data, including open data in the global South, the data priorities of local governments, and the emerging context for rural open data."-- Electronic government information Electronic public records Geospatial data Government information Government information / Access control Freedom of information Transparency in government / Technological innovations Open Data (DE-588)1064023886 gnd rswk-swf Informationsfreiheit (DE-588)4127674-7 gnd rswk-swf Kanada (DE-588)4029456-0 gnd rswk-swf (DE-588)4143413-4 Aufsatzsammlung gnd-content Kanada (DE-588)4029456-0 g Open Data (DE-588)1064023886 s Informationsfreiheit (DE-588)4127674-7 s DE-604 Robinson, Pamela (DE-588)1286535050 edt Scassa, Teresa 1963- (DE-588)1216139431 edt Erscheint auch als Online-Ausgabe, PDF 978-0-7766-2975-9 Erscheint auch als Online-Ausgabe, EPUB 978-0-7766-2976-6 Digitalisierung UB Passau - ADAM Catalogue Enrichment application/pdf http://bvbr.bib-bvb.de:8991/F?func=service&doc_library=BVB01&local_base=BVB01&doc_number=033593745&sequence=000001&line_number=0001&func_code=DB_RECORDS&service_type=MEDIA Inhaltsverzeichnis |
