METAL NANOSTRUCTURES FOR PHOTONICS NANOPHOTONICS SERIES EDITED BY LUCIANA REYES PIRES KASSAB AND CID BARTOLOMEU DE ARAUJO Metal Nanostructures for Photonics builds upon the development of materials with enhanced optical properties and the demand for novel metal-dielectric nanocomposites and nanostructured materials with potential for technological applications. The book covers various aspects of metaldielectric nanocomposites and metallic nanostructures and illustrates techniques used to prepare and to characterize the materials, the physical properties of interest, and some possible applications.
