Zusammenfassung: | This volume offers the first multidisciplinary study of the 'De Nola' (Venice 1514), a hitherto underestimated Latin work written by the Nolan humanist and physician Ambrogio Leone. Furnished by four pioneering engravings made with the help of the Venetian artist Girolamo Mocetto, the 'De Nola' is an impressively rich and multifaceted text, which contains an antiquarian (and celebrative) study of the city of Nola, in the Kingdom of Naples. By describing antiquities, inscriptions, buildings, but also social and religious aspects, the 'De Nola' offers a precious insight of a southern Italy centre in the Renaissance, and constitutes a refined example of 16th century antiquarianism. The work is analysed through an interdisciplinary approach, encompassing art and architecture history, antiquarianism, literature, social history, and anthropology |

The work is analysed through an interdisciplinary approach, encompassing art and architecture history, antiquarianism, literature, social history, and anthropology Leone, Ambrogio 1459-1525 De Nola (DE-588)1137065990 gnd rswk-swf Geschichte 1500-1600 gnd rswk-swf Nola (DE-588)4117905-5 gnd rswk-swf Venedig (DE-588)4062501-1 gnd rswk-swf (DE-588)4143413-4 Aufsatzsammlung gnd-content Leone, Ambrogio 1459-1525 De Nola (DE-588)1137065990 u Venedig (DE-588)4062501-1 g Nola (DE-588)4117905-5 g Geschichte 1500-1600 z DE-604 De Divitiis, Bianca edt Lenzo, Fulvio 1975- (DE-588)1147013381 edt Miletti, Lorenzo edt Erscheint auch als Online-Ausgabe, e-book 978-90-04-37578-9 Angeregt durch Leone, Ambrogio De Nola Venetiiis : Vercellanus, 1514 (DE-604)BV001532143 Brill's studies in intellectual history volume 284 (DE-604)BV000625542 284 KUBIKAT Anreicherung application/pdf http://bvbr.bib-bvb.de:8991/F?func=service&doc_library=BVB01&local_base=BVB01&doc_number=030490982&sequence=000001&line_number=0001&func_code=DB_RECORDS&service_type=MEDIA Inhaltsverzeichnis |
