Leaders in the field provide recently developed methods that have widespread application such as targeting the telomerase holoenzyme, its RNA template and other elements associated with telomerase activity. Additional methods involving the screening of telomerase inhibitors and telomerase inhibition combined with other chemotherapeutic agents are presented.
