| Summary: | "The school from this year was devoted to the study of structure and dynamicsof nuclear systems and their constituents. As shown in the table of contents, the chosen subjects cover a large area of modern nuclear physics. Our aim was to approach the behavior of nuclear systems under extreme conditions, to relate some properties of complex nuclei and nucleons, to throw a glance at subjects bordering on nuclear and elementary particle physics, to identify specific phenomena taking place under conditions, presumably, met in stars, to investigate the newly explored systems of very short half life. Exotic phenomena like, halo structure of some light nuclei, superdeformation, structureof nuclei lying far from the stability line, specific properties of hot nuclei were considered in many lectures."--Preface |
