Zusammenfassung: | Heliophysics is a fast-developing scientific discipline that integrates studies of the Sun's variability, the surrounding heliosphere, and the environment and climate of planets. Over the past few centuries, our understanding of how the Sun drives space weather and climate on the Earth and other planets has advanced at an ever increasing rate. This 2010 volume, the last in this series of three heliophysics texts, focuses on long-term variability from the Sun's decade-long sunspot cycle and considers the evolution of the planetary system over ten billion years from a climatological perspective. Topics covered range from the dynamo action of stars and planets to processes in the Earth's troposphere, ionosphere, and magnetosphere and their effects on planetary climate and habitability. Supplemented by online teaching materials, it can be used as a textbook for courses or as a foundational reference for researchers in fields from astrophysics and plasma physics to planetary and climate science |

Brasseur, Daniel Marsch, and Hauke Schmidt Heliophysics is a fast-developing scientific discipline that integrates studies of the Sun's variability, the surrounding heliosphere, and the environment and climate of planets. Supplemented by online teaching materials, it can be used as a textbook for courses or as a foundational reference for researchers in fields from astrophysics and plasma physics to planetary and climate science Solar activity Weather / Effect of solar activity on Heliosphere (Astrophysics) Solar-terrestrial physics Solar-terrestrische Physik (DE-588)4321917-2 gnd rswk-swf Sonnenaktivität (DE-588)4181821-0 gnd rswk-swf Sonnenwind (DE-588)4135572-6 gnd rswk-swf Klimaschwankung (DE-588)4031175-2 gnd rswk-swf Sonnenstrahlung (DE-588)4139254-1 gnd rswk-swf Stellarastronomie (DE-588)4193384-9 gnd rswk-swf Kosmische Strahlung (DE-588)4165371-3 gnd rswk-swf Klimaänderung (DE-588)4164199-1 gnd rswk-swf Erwärmung Meteorologie (DE-588)4344515-9 gnd rswk-swf Solar-terrestrische Beziehung (DE-588)4137593-2 gnd rswk-swf Stellardynamik (DE-588)4130273-4 gnd rswk-swf Sonnenfleckenzyklus (DE-588)4181828-3 gnd rswk-swf Sonne (DE-588)1236963652 gnd rswk-swf Stellarastronomie (DE-588)4193384-9 s Stellardynamik (DE-588)4130273-4 s Solar-terrestrische Beziehung (DE-588)4137593-2 s Solar-terrestrische Physik (DE-588)4321917-2 s 1\p DE-604 Klimaschwankung (DE-588)4031175-2 s Sonnenaktivität (DE-588)4181821-0 s Klimaänderung (DE-588)4164199-1 s Erwärmung Meteorologie (DE-588)4344515-9 s 2\p DE-604 Kosmische Strahlung (DE-588)4165371-3 s Sonne (DE-588)1236963652 g Sonnenstrahlung (DE-588)4139254-1 s 3\p DE-604 Sonnenfleckenzyklus (DE-588)4181828-3 s Sonnenwind (DE-588)4135572-6 s 4\p DE-604 Schrijver, Carolus J. edt Siscoe, George L. edt Erscheint auch als Druckausgabe 978-0-521-11294-9 Erscheint auch als Druckausgabe 978-0-521-13020-2 https://doi.org/10.1017/CBO9780511760358 Verlag URL des Erstveröffentlichers Volltext 1\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 2\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 3\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 4\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk |
