Zusammenfassung: | The principal findings of experimental economics are that impersonal exchange in markets converges in repeated interaction to the equilibrium states implied by economic theory, under information conditions far weaker than specified in the theory. In personal, social, and economic exchange, as studied in two-person games, cooperation exceeds the prediction of traditional game theory. This book relates these two findings to field studies and applications and integrates them with the main themes of the Scottish Enlightenment and with the thoughts of F. A. Hayek: through emergent socio-economic institutions and cultural norms, people achieve ends that are unintended and poorly understood. In cultural changes, the role of constructivism, or reason, is to provide variation, and the role of ecological processes is to select the norms and institutions that serve the fitness needs of societies |

In cultural changes, the role of constructivism, or reason, is to provide variation, and the role of ecological processes is to select the norms and institutions that serve the fitness needs of societies Wirtschaft Ökologie Economics / Methodology Constructivism (Philosophy) Ecology Ökologie (DE-588)4043207-5 gnd rswk-swf Soziale Norm (DE-588)4132883-8 gnd rswk-swf Rational Choice (DE-588)4274923-2 gnd rswk-swf Spieltheorie (DE-588)4056243-8 gnd rswk-swf Konstruktivismus Soziologie (DE-588)4442526-0 gnd rswk-swf Experiment (DE-588)4015999-1 gnd rswk-swf Wirtschaftspsychologie (DE-588)4066506-9 gnd rswk-swf Wirtschaftsordnung (DE-588)4066475-2 gnd rswk-swf Institutionalismus (DE-588)4131259-4 gnd rswk-swf Wirtschaftstheorie (DE-588)4079351-5 gnd rswk-swf Rational Choice (DE-588)4274923-2 s Wirtschaftspsychologie (DE-588)4066506-9 s Experiment (DE-588)4015999-1 s Konstruktivismus Soziologie (DE-588)4442526-0 s 1\p DE-604 Institutionalismus (DE-588)4131259-4 s Soziale Norm (DE-588)4132883-8 s Wirtschaftsordnung (DE-588)4066475-2 s Spieltheorie (DE-588)4056243-8 s 2\p DE-604 Wirtschaftstheorie (DE-588)4079351-5 s Ökologie (DE-588)4043207-5 s 3\p DE-604 Erscheint auch als Druckausgabe 978-0-521-13338-8 Erscheint auch als Druckausgabe 978-0-521-87135-8 https://doi.org/10.1017/CBO9780511754364 Verlag URL des Erstveröffentlichers Volltext 1\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 2\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 3\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk |
