The present empirical work is an outcome of a study of Indian scientists by deploying both quantitative and quantitative methods. This book provides with an estimation of the relative contribution of determinants of productivity of organic chemists across different contexts of organization in the Indian context and examines the consequences upon the career pattern of scientists.
