Zunächst rekonstruiert der Verfasser ausführlich die "metaphysische Deduktion" der transzendentalen und der kosmologischen Vernunftideen. Sodann wird Kants Lehre von den Antinomien der reinen Vernunft in den Kontext seiner theoretischen Philosophie eingeordnet; die philologische und formallogische Analyse der vier Antinomien schließt sich an.
