With this thesis the author contributes to the development of a non-
mainstream but long-standing approach to eiectroweak symmetry break¬
ing based on an analogy with superconductivity. Eiectroweak symmetry
breaking is assumed to be caused by dynamically generated masses

of quarks and kptons» which in turn assumes a new
dynamics between quarks and ieptons. Primarily it is designed to gener¬
ate fermion masses, and
