Zusammenfassung:"The Plan of Rome is a large plaster model of nearly 70 m2 which represents ancient Rome in the times of the emperor Constantine (IVth C. A.D.). Classified in the Inventory of Historical Monuments, it is the work of Norman architect Paul Bigot (1870-1942), winner of the Grand Prix of Rome and professor at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Bequeathed to the Université de Caen and exhibited today in a central gallery at the Maison de la Recherche en Sciences Humaines, this relief plan is the origin of a pluridisciplinary project for a virtual 3D model reconstructed in computer-generated images."
