To the freeholders and freemen of the city and county of New-York: The appointment of two members only, by the various denominations of dissenters, who form a majority of the electors of this city and county, having been offered and not complied with; it was unanimously agreed, at a meeting of several hundred inhabitants, that Philip Livingston, Peter Van Brugh Livingston, Theodorus Van Wyck, and John Morin Scott, Esqrs, be candidates at the ensuing election for representatives.
