Boston, ss: Whereas at a meeting of the freeholders and other inhabitants of the town of Boston, on Friday the 16th of May last, it was voted as the opinion of the town that if the inhabitants will give in to the assessors a just valuation of their estates, that so the same may be laid before the General Court, it may probably be a means of their obtaining relief as to paying so large a proportion of the publick taxes. s.n.
