Zusammenfassung:Fourteen-year-old Alex O'Grady has tried to forget the past. But the past is hard to forget when everyone keeps reminding you of it. People stare at Alex, kids at school avoid him and customers at the restaurant where his mom works know exactly who she is and what happened to their family. Alex's mother decides that they need a break, so she takes Alex and his sisters to Family Camp at Loon Island, hoping to find some peace of mind. Alex would rather be on his own, but Jerry, a persistent kid from out of town, makes an attempt at friendship during the boat ride to the island. Although Alex is hesitant to trust anyone, Jerry doesn't know about his past, and having someone to hang out with might not be so bad. When the two boys start exploring the camp, they discover signs that there is an intruder in their midst. But by the time Alex and Jerry figure out the identity of the mysterious trespasser, they realize they are in way over their heads. Is the past doomed to repeat itself?
