Summary:Based loosely on a real incident when 4,000 bikers ransacked a quiet California town in 1947, the story revolves around a group of youths The Black Rebels who travel from town to town, led by Johnny ( Brando), and encounter another group led by Chino ( Lee Marvin). However, despite Johnny's tough exterior, through his relationship with the daughter of the town's infecctual cop, it is apparent that even he has a degree of humanity and sympathy
