The fall of Babel: By the confusion of tongues directly proouing against the papistes of this, and former ages; that a view of their writings and bookes, being taken, it cannot be discerned by any man liuing, what they would say, or how be vnderstood, in the question of the sacrifice of the masse, the reall presence or transubstantiation, ... In the question of the popes supremacie is shewed, how they abuse an authoritie of the auncient father S. Cyprian, a canon of the I. niceen counsell, and the ecclesiasticall historie of Socrates, and Sozomen: and lastly is set downe a briefe of the succession of popes in the sea of Rome, for these 1600. yeares togeather: what diuersitie there is in their accompt, what heresies, schismes, and intrusions there hath been in that sea, deliuered in opposition against their tables, wherewith nowadayes they are very busie and other things discouered against them.
