Pauls confidence" (caption title) begins new pagination and register. - All items were previously published: 1 and 2 as "Two sermons: the one preached before the judges of assize at Oxford. The other to the Universitie"; 3 separately; 4 and 5 as "The blessednesse of a sound spirit: with the misery of a wounded spirit"; and 6 separately. - In this "second edition" the subsidiary sermons are all reprinted in two separate registers, lacking sub title pages. The preliminaries (a4) are in the same setting as the STC 12851.7. - Printer's name from STC. - Reproduction of the original in the Folger Shakespeare Library. - STC (2nd ed.), 12852. - The first leaf and the last leaf are blank. - Variant: title page misprints "to the Vniuersi- of Oxford"
