On Several Aspects of Receptive Musical Aesthetics

Abstract: The aesthetic sense is an anthropological constant. The sensual, aesthetic way
of perception activates consciousness, stimulates imagination and cultivates the creative
capacity of man. It is realised within an auditory culture due to the variability
οι
musica]
manifestations, it forms a sphere of musical culture and adumbrates its basic character¬
istics. The classical manifestation of European musical culture is significantly modified
as a consequence of the realised plurality of the poetics of music. The basic changes can
be seen particularly in the forms of musical life connected with the concert type of
musical reception. Receptive musical aesthetics is a methodological alternative to classi¬
cal musical aesthetics. Here music is considered as an auditory phenomenon with spe¬
cific aesthetic functions but not necessarily artistic ones. The receptive potential of music
is multiform and it corresponds to a wide spectrum of typologically and axio-Iogically
non-homogeneous musical manifestations.

Resümee: Slowakisches
Bildungssystem
ist nach dem Jahr 1989 durch mehrere Ver¬
änderungen gekennzeichnet, die auch Musikbildung- und Erziehung eingegriffen ha¬
ben. Ein Ziel dieses Artikels besteht darin, auf die Veränderungen in dem Erziehungs¬
und Aus-bildungssystem hinzuweisen. Sie wurden in dem
Innovations-
und Umstruk¬
turierungskontext von Musikbildung- und Erziehung in verschiedenen slowakischen
Schuldokumenten ausgedrückt. Dieser Beitrag analysiert vor allem Musikunterricht
und Musikbildung in den Primarschulen, nämlich in den allgemeinbildenden Schulen
und Grund-Kunstschulen.

from the view of the electronic publication in the form of an open-source internet
database, which, in this form and extent, is used for the first time in the Czech

Theoretical Basis For Thinking at the Time of Its Anniversary

Abstract: The digital method of transfer of terrestrial broadcasting of television signals
significantly
relativises
the position of Slovak television as a medium of public service
broadcasting among private broadcasters. Nowadays national public television has to be
considered in the light of the background and interests of cultural imperialism and
globalisation. It will be necessary to decentralise the responsibility for the quality of
programs to smaller editorial staffs and script-editing groups, and to monitor the
informational and artistic quality of programmes by methods of content analysis, to
guarantee the technological and technical progress of Slovak television, to direct the
professional strategy of Slovak television towards a stability of professions in Slovak
cinematography, and to create conditions for high-quality, competitive, original Slovak
production.

Abstract: The expression of an artist and the environment of the stage are the
inseparable constituents of perception when watching a concert on television. The visual
sight dominates particulary in the sphere of popular music. Recording of a concert
requires creativity when choosing the contents of visual shots. Musical-dramatic works
are the special category of television recording, processing and new production for
television. Documentary production with musical subjects influences the popularization
of music. The development of video shots is the result of interweaving of needs and
possibilities of pop music and television broadcasting. Television musical macro-
dramaturgy and microdramaturgy should lead to a content-balanced program. In the
context of television broadcasting the shift from music being autonomous to that of
functional is evident.

Abstract: The analysis works is based on a knowledge of a Slovak folk music, its tune,
tonal and interval structure, modality and latent harmony. The subject of the analysis is
an inclusion of music to a film work in regard to its dramaturgical understanding,
setting, expression and plot. A movie plot is in a context with instrumentation and
orchestration of music, its tempo, cadence, chord, a way the composer perceives the folk
song motif as inspiratory source and inventive work with them.

Abstract: The only sound of the artistic documentary Fienj Rivers is music. It represents
real sounds, in its final version it works as timbre music, and functions on both artistic
and stylistic levels. The organization of tone source is dodecaphonic, atonal; the position,
the instrumentation, and colouring sense of sequence of intervals are determined in the
composition of sound clusters groups. Picture and music in the film work analogously
on the principle of

is not only a composer but also a philosopher and sociologist.
His
literáty
work is not only a marginal or supplementary concern; it is as important as
his compositional work and even more, these two fields of his work are narrowly
interconnected. In the first place,
Berger
in his texts expresses his existential needs.
However, it is not only a statement of a composer about the starting points of his
creation, but it is also a statement of a reformer of society, who is asking where the
contemporary culture is facing and where it should be facing, and problems of the
influence of the media as an important bearer of cultural information are closely
associated with it. The aim of this study is to name the most essential problems which

deals with and submit their solution to a critical evaluation, particularly by
means of confrontation with other contemporary thinkers.

An Analysis of the Music to the Movie

Abstract: The analysis works is based on a knowledge of a Slovak folk music, its tune,
tonal and interval structure, modality and latent harmony. The subject of the analysis is
an inclusion of music to a film work in regard to its dramaturgical understanding,
setting, expression and plot. A movie plot is in a context with instrumentation and
orchestration of music, its tempo, cadence, chord, a way the composer perceives the folk
song motif as inspiratory source and inventive work with them.

Abstract: The only sound of the artistic documentary Fienj Rivers is music. It represents
real sounds, in its final version it works as timbre music, and functions on both artistic
and stylistic levels. The organization of tone source is dodecaphonic, atonal; the position,
the instrumentation, and colouring sense of sequence of intervals are determined in the
composition of sound clusters groups. Picture and music in the film work analogously
on the principle of
intermodal
and synethetic qualities.

Berger
is not only a composer but also a philosopher and sociologist.
His
literáty
work is not only a marginal or supplementary concern; it is as important as
his compositional work and even more, these two fields of his work are narrowly
interconnected. In the first place,
Berger
in his texts expresses his existential needs.
However, it is not only a statement of a composer about the starting points of his
creation, but it is also a statement of a reformer of society, who is asking where the
contemporary culture is facing and where it should be facing, and problems of the
influence of the media as an important bearer of cultural information are closely
associated with it. The aim of this study is to name the most essential problems which
Berger
deals with and submit their solution to a critical evaluation, particularly by
means of confrontation with other contemporary thinkers.
