Prospective memory: the delayed realization of intentions

More than half of all everyday memory problems concern the delayed execution of an intended action, e.g. forgetting to give someone a call. This text looks at these types of memory tasks that have been labelled prospective memory. Interest in this field of cognitive psychology is growing.
