Fumiko Yonezawa

Yonezawa in November 1995 Fumiko Yonezawa (Japanese: 米沢 富美子; 19 October 1938 – 17 January 2019) was a Japanese theoretical physicist. She was the first woman to be appointed as the President of the Physical Society of Japan and the first Japanese student to have studied at Keele University in Staffordshire, United Kingdom.
