Ward Whitt
Ward Whitt (born January 29, 1942) is an American professor of operations research and management sciences. He is a professor emeritus of the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research department of Columbia University. His research focuses on queueing theory, performance analysis, stochastic models of telecommunication systems, and numerical transform inversion.
