Daniel Whitby

Engraving of Daniel Whitby c.1708 by [[Michael Vandergucht Daniel Whitby (1638–1726) was a controversial English theologian and biblical commentator. An Arminian priest in the Church of England, Whitby was known as strongly anti-Calvinistic and later gave evidence of Unitarian tendencies.
