Daniel Wakelin

Daniel Leslie Wakelin, (, born 31 January 1977), is a British palaeographist. He is the Jeremy Griffiths Professor of Medieval English Palaeography in the University of Oxford and a fellow of St Hilda's College.

Wakelin graduated from the Trinity Hall, Cambridge with a PhD in mediaeval palaeography. Previously he worked at the St Catharine's College, Cambridge and the Christ's College, Cambridge. He is a specialist in Mediaeval English literature and its circulation and reception in manuscripts and other material texts, and teaching course in English language and literature 650–1550 in the University of Oxford. He also is a 2015 winner of the DeLong Book History Prize. Provided by Wikipedia
