Edmund Wagner

Edmund Wagner (5 December 1914 – 13 November 1941) was a Luftwaffe ace and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross during World War II. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Wagner was killed in action on 13 November 1941 near Pawmutowka, Russia, and was posthumously awarded the Knight's Cross on 17 November 1941. During his career he was credited with 58 Aerial victories, including 57 on the Eastern Front and one on the Western Front. Provided by Wikipedia
