Larry Shue

Larry Howard Shue (July 23, 1946 – September 23, 1985) was an American playwright and actor, best known for writing two oft-performed farces, ''The Nerd'' and ''The Foreigner''.

An Alley Theatre essayist wrote in a 2024 retrospective, "Playwrights and actors alike continue to draw inspiration from his comedic style." The ''BroadwayWorld'' website says similarly that Shue "made a significant impact on the theater world before his untimely death in a plane crash in 1985." Provided by Wikipedia
