Mittweida () is a former district in Saxony, Germany. It was bounded by (from the north and clockwise) the districts Muldentalkreis, Döbeln, Freiberg, the district-free city Chemnitz and the district Chemnitzer Land, the district Altenburger Land in Thuringia and the district Leipziger Land.
