adam_text | The classification of personality pathology according to Otto
Kernberg s psychoanalytic theory of personality
organiza-
tilín
is examined in this study. Based on the newly developed
instrument Structured Interview of Personality Organization
(STIPO)
by Clarkin, Caligor, Stern and
Kernberg (2004),
a
prototypical profile of Borderline Personality Organization
was established and its psychometric qualities and usefulness
for the diagnosis of a clinical sample were tested. The inter¬
view is described in detail and individual cases demonstrate
the application of the method.
