Adam Griffiths

Adam Griffiths gives instructions at a Wellington Phoenix training session in 2024 Adam Griffiths (born 21 August 1979 in Sydney) is an Australian professional football manager who currently serves as the Assistant Coach of Wellington Phoenix FC. He is a former professional football (soccer) player and Socceroo.

In 2020 he became Head Coach of National Premiere Leagues NSW side Manly United. In 2022 he transformed Manly United FC into a dynamic, attacking team that reached the 2021/22 NPL Grand Final, earning him recognition as NPL Coach of the Year. Adam was awarded Coach of the year 2022 at the Football NSW Gold Medal Awards. In July 2022 he was appointed to the A- League as Assistant Coach under Mark Rudan at The Western Sydney Wanderers. Griffiths helped guide the team to their first finals in seven years and the league’s best defensive record during his debut year as an A-League assistant coach.

Since July 2023, Griffiths has been the Assistant Coach. at A-League club Wellington Phoenix, where he contributed to the club's record-breaking 2023/24 season, achieving their highest-ever league finish and securing the league’s best defensive record for the second time in just his second year as an assistant coach.
