Thomas Gilovich

Thomas Gilovich mini|Thomas Gilovich Thomas D. Gilovich (* 1954) ist ein US-amerikanischer Psychologe. Er ist Professor an der Cornell University.

Gilovich studierte an der University of California, Santa Barbara (B.A., 1976) und an der Stanford University (Ph.D., 1981).

2012 wurde er in die American Academy of Arts and Sciences gewählt. 2019 erhielt er den Donald T. Campbell Award.

Gilovichs Forschungsinteressen sind Beurteilung und Entscheidungsfindung im Alltag, kritisches Denken, Egozentrismus, Optimismus, Pessimismus, Befriedigung und Reue, sowie Verhaltensökonomik. Veröffentlicht in Wikipedia
