comprehensive and integrated way. Progressing from small-scale to large-scale phenomena,
with frequent reference to environmental and economic applications, this text presents a
rigorous treatment that assumes only a modest background knowledge of mathematics and
science, it isthe ¡deal resourceforatwo-semestercourse in sedimentology, stratigraphy,
geomorphology and Earth surface processes from the intermediate undergraduate to
